About this role
Role Overview
Develop and maintain detailed Excel-based pricing models in accordance with RFP requirements.
Build fully burdened labor rates and structure pricing by CLIN in alignment with solicitation instructions.
Integrate subcontractor and vendor pricing into prime contractor cost models.
Conduct financial scenario modeling and risk analysis.
Support and/or lead pricing efforts for federal opportunities valued at $25M+.
Draft and coordinate pricing narratives, assumptions, methodologies, and cost justifications.
Ensure alignment between technical staffing plans and pricing structure.
Maintain organized, audit-ready pricing documentation and version control.
Review solicitations to identify pricing requirements and compliance risks.
Ensure adherence to FAR, DFARS, and applicable cost principles.
Verify subcontractor pricing submissions for adequacy and responsiveness.
Assist in development of price-to-win analyses and pricing target recommendations.
Conduct market and competitor research to inform pricing strategy.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
5–7 years of progressive experience in federal government pricing and cost proposal development.
Demonstrated experience supporting and/or leading pricing efforts for federal proposals valued at $25M or greater.
Experience with federal contract types including FFP, T&M, CPFF, IDIQ, and BPAs.
Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal cost principles.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling, and linked workbooks.
Experience developing fully burdened labor rates.
Exposure to price-to-win (PTW) analysis and competitive pricing strategy development.
Experience preparing pricing documentation suitable for DCAA/DCMA audit or negotiation environments.
Experience working within small business federal contracting environments (WOSB/EDWOSB).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced proposal environment.
