Role Overview
Coordinate daily production activities to ensure work orders move efficiently through the facility
Lead daily startup activities, job assignments, and workflow prioritization
Monitor productivity and quality against established standards
Assist hands-on with production activities as needed
Operate a company vehicle as needed to ensure continuity of operations, including transporting PPE, equipment, or materials when coverage gaps occur
Ensure adherence to NFPA 1850/1851 standards and OSHA requirements
Reinforce proper PPE usage and safe work practices at all times
Support documentation and compliance related to third-party verification programs
Participate in updating and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Provide day-to-day guidance, training, and coaching to team members
Support onboarding of new employees and reinforce proper work techniques
Address minor performance or attendance issues and escalate when appropriate
Foster a respectful, accountable, and safety-focused work environment
Communicate professionally with customers regarding gear status and service timelines
Provide regular updates to corporate and operations leadership
Support customer visits and relationship building activities as needed
Accurately use company systems to track work orders and production status
Maintain process documentation and assist with operational reporting
Utilize Microsoft Office tools and internal systems for communication and reporting
Assist with routine equipment care and minor maintenance
Help maintain an organized, clean, and compliant facility
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred
Prior experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or service operations
Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
Experience leading or training small teams strongly preferred
Familiarity with safety driven or regulated environments (NFPA, OSHA, or similar)
Basic to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability and willingness to operate a company vehicle as needed to support operations, including covering driving responsibilities when the assigned driver is unavailable
Must maintain a valid driver's license and meet company driving eligibility requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
