Serve as the primary point of contact for event hosts, providing consultative planning and guidance throughout the event lifecycle.
Partner closely with service teams — Catering, Facilities, Technology & AV, Executive Production, Security, Transportation, and Janitorial — to deliver comprehensive meeting services.
Outline event deliverables, complete project timelines, event workbooks, and communication plans.
Coordinate and attend site inspections; ensure prompt and accurate handling of all event details.
Maintain proactive, open communication with clients to ensure clear expectations and high satisfaction, including leading recurring status meetings.
Track event communication and document updates within the event management system.
Work closely with the Onsite Event Specialist by providing clear direction and reviewing event logistics to ensure flawless execution.
Schedule and lead pre‑con meetings; periodically inspect event spaces to confirm services and setups meet requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in meeting/event planning, incentives, associations, corporate events, hotel catering, convention services, or sales.
Strong knowledge of program/event management and budget maintenance, with exposure to project planning and forecasting.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, agile environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong proficiency in G Suite and Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new technology quickly.
