Role Overview
- Provide interior design advice and product expertise
- Facilitate tile and stone selection
- Log all client showroom visits and contact information
- Effectively communicate with customers and internal team members
- Report sales closures monthly
- Prospect for new business with Custom Builders and Residential Designers
- Maintain showroom samples and merchandising
- Ship customer examples as needed
- Plan and host showroom tours and events
- Attend outside trade events
Requirements
- Four-year degree in a related field, or four years of related experience, or a combination of a two-year degree with two years of related experience
- Sales/Customer engagement/Customer service skills
- Design/sketching/reading blueprints knowledge
- Auto-CAD a plus
- Computer skills – MS Office, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint – Customer management tools a plus
- Excellent oral, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills
