Role Overview
Lead a high-velocity, audience-based sales team responsible for driving multi-market, regional revenue growth across the markets that Axios serves.
Build a disciplined, package-first sales culture that drives multi-product adoption, increases ACV, and sales velocity.
Develop hunters who sell audience solutions at scale.
Requirements
10+ years’ experience in sales, specifically in the digital media industry
Experience leading distributed, high-velocity sales teams at scale
Has multi-market sales experience and knows how regional budgets differ from single-market budgets
Experience in consultative selling and can reframe clients around funnel gaps.
In-depth knowledge of digital media, online marketing technology, and Axios’ competitive landscape
Strong CRM discipline and forecasting rigor
Suggest AI workflows to improve revenue generation and Client Partner effectiveness
Willingness to travel and attend social events and engagements during evening hours
Ability to oversee all aspects of daily operations for a team of client partners, including hiring, training, coaching and development, and performance management.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the willingness to proactively partner with Vertical Expertise, Axios Brand Studio and events teams
