Support monthly forecasting and multi-year budgeting processes, including preparing and gathering inputs and assumptions, and reviewing financial and operating results to identify trends in a timely manner
Prepare and analyze detailed components of FFO, including NOI, interest income, interest expense and capital expenditure spend
Review and track status of repositioning and development projects to ensure accuracy in projections
Assist in preparing presentations and support materials for monthly management reporting, quarterly earnings calls, Board of Directors meetings and investor relations support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Leasing, Asset Management, Development and Construction, Investments, Capital Markets and Technology to provide financial analysis and support forecast assumptions
Dedication to continuous improvement, with a near-term focus on developing new financial tools for improved forecast visibility
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in FP&A, real estate finance, REIT or related area
Advanced Excel and financial modeling experience
Experience with Yardi and working in a publicly traded environment is preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with a collaborative and proactive mindset
Highly reliable and responsive, with the flexibility to adapt quickly to business needs and ability to perform effectively in an environment with competing priorities
Must be located in Southern California.
