Canon U.S.A., Inc. is a leading provider of digital imaging solutions. The Sales Account Manager is responsible for managing assigned accounts, maintaining client communication, and driving sales across the company’s product offerings, with a focus on camera and lens technology.
Responsibilities:
- Managing assigned accounts and maintaining regular client communication
- Responding to customer needs and achieving strategic account objectives
- Building long-term client relationships and driving sales across the company’s product and service offerings
- Executing sales plans and developing new accounts
- Expanding existing relationships within an assigned territory and/or product line
- Selling through multiple channels, including government, multi-channel, and distribution/retail
- Creating awareness and demand for the company’s products
- Coordinating with sales and technical teams to support complex sales initiatives
- Developing and presenting sales proposals and recommending system solutions
- Closing complex technical sales
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required
- 5 years of related experience
- Strong background in camera and video technology, particularly cameras and lenses
- Ability to speak knowledgeably about industry trends, products, and solutions with clients and internal teams
- Experience managing assigned accounts and maintaining regular client communication
- Ability to respond to customer needs
- Experience executing sales plans, developing new accounts, and expanding existing relationships within an assigned territory and/or product line
- Experience selling through multiple channels, including government, multi-channel, and distribution/retail
- Ability to create awareness and demand for the company's products
- Experience coordinating with sales and technical teams to support complex sales initiatives
- Ability to develop and present sales proposals, recommend system solutions, and close complex technical sales
- Capable of working independently on complex issues with minimal day-to-day supervision
