Assist with all functions related to the delivery of summer camp programs
Ensure a safe and enjoyable camp experience for children and youth with special needs
Participate in interventions and provide direct care to clients
Adapt programs to meet participants' needs
Work in accordance with applicable laws, policies, procedures and related guidelines.

Be at least 16 years old to hold this position
Have completed the first year of college or university studies in nursing, developmental services, recreation/leisure studies, or a related field
Student must be returning to studies in the fall
Minimum related experience required: at least eight (8) months but not exceeding one (1) year
Valid certificate in Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, and AED
Accessibility training (LAPHO) / NAI training
Certification in crisis prevention/intervention
Preferred training in alternative communication systems (e.g., ASL — American Sign Language)
A certificate in safe lifting and ergonomic transfer operations is an asset.
