Responsible for the day to day operation of the JMC Infection Prevention and Control program for all Jupiter Medical Center programs
Engage in practices of infection risk assessment, surveillance analysis, investigation and control of healthcare acquired infections and outbreaks
Facilitate methods for safety prevention and control of infectious diseases for all patients, team members, volunteers and visitors
Collaborate with JMC Leadership and other healthcare professionals
Ensure compliance with standards and regulations from the CDC, DOH, CMS, OSHA, TJC, and the State of Florida

RN License in the state of Florida
BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers
Infection Prevention experience in a hospital setting preferred
5 years clinical experience
Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (CIC) preferred or eligible within 2 years
