Develop relationships within assigned business unit/client group to gain a deep knowledge of business across operations from both tactical and strategic perspectives.
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership by aligning HR and EHS strategies with business objectives for assigned units.
Continuously identify changes, gaps, and inefficiencies in existing processes; provide standardization, simplification, and improvement recommendations.
Guide leaders and employees regarding Company policies to ensure consistency and timely handling of HR/EHS programs.
Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local HR and safety standards/codes.
Develop, analyze, and monitor HR/EHS metrics to support the development and execution of site strategies to improve organizational health and drive culture.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Safety, or related field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum seven (7) years' of related experience with three (3) years in experience in a managerial capacity, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations: FLSA, DOL, EEOC, HIPPA, ADAA, OSHA, EPA, NFPA, DOT, Worker’s Compensation, and other related regulations.
PHR, SPHR, Certified Safety Professional, or Certified Industrial Hygienist Preferred.
Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
