Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to define and implement company strategy, annual/daily/monthly KPIs, and long-term goals.
Translate strategy into actionable plans across business, clinical, and operational functions.
Lead and continuously evolve SimpliFed’s operational strategy, infrastructure, and systems for scale.
Drive cross-functional alignment around KPIs and ensure performance is monitored and all members are held accountable and responsible for KPIs.
Partner with finance to develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost controls.
Collaborate with the CTO to ensure operational processes are supported by scalable technology and data systems, driving automation and actionable insights.
Directly oversee all departments excluding, Commercial (CCO) and Technology (CTO).
Support a distributed, virtual team environment by maintaining operational clarity, ownership, and accountability.
Lead company-wide operating rhythm including weekly team “backstage” meetings, all-hands, and planning cycles.
Oversee hiring operations, onboarding, performance reviews, and workforce planning in collaboration with team leads.
Ensure execution of a consistent and scalable patient experience and clinical service delivery model.
Maintain and evolve clinical protocols, SOPs, and backstage systems supporting service operations.
Champion operational excellence that enhances both patient outcomes, employee satisfaction, and provider satisfaction as we grow and scale.
Maintain organizational compliance with all regulatory, contractual, and legal requirements—including Medicaid and commercial payer requirements.
Ensure all contracts, employee agreements, policies, and operational documents are up to date and securely managed.
Manage operational risk, audit readiness, and security best practices with a high standard for data integrity and family privacy.
Develop and maintain business continuity plans to ensure uninterrupted service delivery during crises or system outages.
Own and optimize the tools, workflows, and documentation systems that power SimpliFed’s day-to-day operations (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Jira project management tools).
Partner with functional leaders to scope and manage major cross-functional initiatives and special projects.
Drive continuous improvement by applying human-centered design, systems thinking, and agile principles.
Requirements
10-15+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, digital health, or health tech services
Proven experience scaling operations in a startup or early-growth environment (ideally Series A–C)
Demonstrated understanding of payer contracts, compliance standards (Medicaid, HIPAA), and healthcare delivery operations
Strong familiarity with OKRs, KPIs, performance dashboards, and operational planning cycles
Experience leading hybrid or remote teams across clinical and business domains
Bonus: Background in maternal health, pediatrics, behavioral health, or value-based care delivery
