Role Overview
- Oversee accounting operations and resolution of accounting issues for clients.
- Utilize expertise in domestic and international fund accounting operations.
- Manage the daily accounting operation of assigned funds.
- Support annual audits and coordinate/onboard new funds.
- Serve as liaison between clients, service providers, and internal teams.
- Prepare/review SEC filings and assist with distribution calculation and tax reporting.
- Communicate with external investment managers regarding fund inquiries.
Requirements
- BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the fund services industry.
- Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory or management experience.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team in a daily processing environment.
- Must be able to work 10:30am to 7:30pm Eastern time zone
- Proficiency with fund accounting software.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications.
