Role Overview
- Provide executive oversight of daily nursing operations, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant pediatric care.
- Oversee nursing leaders to drive best practices, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state, federal, payer, and accreditation requirements.
- Lead operational planning to support growth, capacity expansion, and service excellence.
- Oversee referral management and intake functions to ensure timely, accurate, and family-centered access to services.
- Monitor performance metrics, including referral-to-admission conversion rates and capacity utilization.
- Partner with HR on workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and performance management.
- Serve as the primary operational liaison between Star Pediatrics and centralized shared services teams.
- Promote a culture of clinical excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree required; Masters degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field preferred
- 8-12+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare, pediatrics, or clinical services
- Proven experience leading complex operations with strong clinical, financial, and people management components
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and operational metrics
- Preferred: Experience in pediatric or community-based healthcare services, scaling service lines, and value-based care models
