About this role
Role Overview
Drive Growth: Execute business plans to grow gross margins
Prospecting: Perform prospecting activities to generate new sales
Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear strategy
Intelligence: Collect and report market information
Supply Chain Management: Create and maintain pickup/delivery schedules
Inventory Balancing: Adjust customer volumes and contracts
Contract Management: Enter farm sales contracts and manage price adjustments
Cross-Functional Support: Update billing team and management on loads
Budgeting: Prepare annual budgets and manage expenses
Credit/AR: Manage accounts receivable risk and ensure timely collections
Compliance: Operate within established company policies
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in Feed Sales, Account Management, or Logistics
Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Business, or a related field
Strong Agricultural/Livestock background (on-farm experience is highly preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams and CRM Software
Assertive and able to accept rejection, and thrive under pressure
Self-starter capable of problem-solving independently
Exceptional oral and written communication skills; comfortable mediating between conflicting resource needs
Willingness to travel up to 20% of time as needed for customer meetings
Ability to provide support during business hours with occasional evening or weekend availability
