Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Director of E-Commerce is responsible for the day-to-day management, optimization, and growth of SPFP’s digital retail and marketplace businesses, with a primary focus on Amazon, Chewy, Walmart.com, and TikTok Shop.
This role owns digital shelf performance, retail media execution, marketplace operations, and revenue-driving optimization across key e-commerce channels.
Ensure our brands show up competitively, convert efficiently, and scale profitably within each platform’s unique ecosystem.
Operate as a player-coach, being hands-on in platform management and performance analysis, while coordinating agencies, creative partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver results.
Sit at the intersection of marketing, sales, and operations, translating brand strategy into channel-specific execution that drives velocity, efficiency, and profitable growth.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Science, or related field
7-10 years of experience growth, performance marketing, or digital revenue leadership experience, ideally within pet, CPG, or marketplace-driven consumer brands
Proven track record scaling paid acquisition and retention programs with meaningful budget ownership (7-figure annual spend minimum)
Demonstrated success improving CAC, LTV, and contribution margin through structured experimentation, rigorous attribution, and creative optimization
Deep expertise in performance channels (social, affiliate/influencer, CRO) and marketplace platforms (Amazon, Chewy, Walmart.com, TikTok Shop)
Hands-on experience building attribution models, marketing mix frameworks, incrementality testing, and portfolio-based budget allocation
Strong analytical and financial fluency, with experience building growth models, forecast outcomes, and partnering closely with finance on ROI and payback frameworks
Passion for brand building alongside performance discipline, with ability to balance quantitative rigor with creative judgement and consumer insight.
