Partner with the client’s leadership to identify safety concerns and goals.
Create and manage a program to achieve a safe, empowered, and prepared community.
Primary contact for clients after they have contracted with Joffe emergency services for school safety.
Facilitate 1:1 thought partnership calls.
Establish big picture goals at the beginning of the contract.
Create a schedule of engagement via a timeline and priorities document.
Collaborate with School Health Services and Event Safety Divisions to train and support EMT and Health Coordinators to provide client staff members with a wide array of advanced disaster response skills and on-site preparedness and crisis support.
Manage internal and institutional knowledge of individual schools.
Collaborate on the creation of resources and training presentations.
Establish continuous and open lines of communication.
Manage shared folders and resources for clients.
Pre-empt and anticipate client questions and concerns.
Look for collaboration and connection opportunities with clients.
Manage out-of-scope questions and requests.
Support one-off requests.
Plan and execute risk assessments of campuses virtually and/or on-site, deliver comprehensive reports on findings and recommendations, and partner with clients to build a plan to operationalize the recommendations.
Track client engagement hours to ensure client-consultant relationship remains within hourly parameters.
Address time concerns that arise regarding above to ensure equitable and sustainable division of consultant time between clients.
Manage content creation project workflow, developing strategy for content creation including contractor support and external needs as appropriate.
Support content creation and facilitation of ongoing Joffe outreach efforts, which could include web pages, webinars, newsletters, association partnerships, and conference presentations & sessions.
Create resources that can be adapted and used by clients and other members of the Joffe team.
As necessary, act as liaison with vendors and partner organizations.
Participate in On-Call (24/7): Emergency Line Support.
Act as an Incident Commander for regional incidents as assigned by Division management.
Communicate and coordinate with other divisions and colleagues in a timely and professional manner.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Must reside in New York or the Washington, D.C. area
Bachelor’s Degree
Healthcare/Educational Institution Experience
CPR/First Aid/AED Certification
Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Collaborative, team player, confident in front of large groups and public speaking
Keen understanding and excellence with administrative duties; high attention to detail
Excellent trainer and communicator in written and verbal communication
Incident Command System (ICS) 100, 200, 700, 800 courses
