Role Overview
- Seek out new business opportunities in real estate, contractor, and cannabis industry clients
- Drive new business development and build a book of business in high-growth verticals
- Manage client meetings, networking events, and prospect visits
- Balance proposal preparation and account marketing time
- Collaborate with team while managing pipeline independently
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license
- required
- 3-5 years of commercial insurance production experience
- Demonstrated track record of new business development and meeting sales goals
- Strong knowledge of commercial package policies, general liability, property, and workers' compensation
- Experience with at least one of the following industries: real estate, construction/contractors, or cannabis
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong prospecting skills and self-motivation to drive business growth
- Proficiency with agency management systems and CRM tools
