Role Overview
- Provide expert legal advice and strategic guidance to the organization on a wide range of legal issues
- Work closely with various departments to support business objectives
- Develop and litigate regulatory cases, including drafting pleadings, testimony, discovery requests and responses, and briefs
- Manage legal risks and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Represent the company in legal proceedings and meetings with external parties
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited US law school
- 5+ years of legal experience, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department and in the electric utility or energy sector.
- 7+ years of legal experience for Senior Counsel Grade 11, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department and in the electric utility or energy sector.
