Liaise with clients to hit tight deadlines, stay on top of feedback, sign-offs and story distributions for multiple projects at various stages
Manage all project activity, coordinating with clients to become a trusted advisor on the strategy and development of their campaign
Provide strategic counsel to clients and work seamlessly with internal teams to deliver effective project outcomes
Create and confidently present ideas that resonate with client objectives while maintaining strong news value — bringing them to life with persuasive written proposals
Draft surveys that are fun, intriguing or thought-provoking around all subject matters that get to the heart of a topic while retaining integrity
Create compelling copy and stories that are as entertaining as they are informative
Requirements
Prior experience: 2–3 years of related communications experience working with consumer clients; PR agency or in-house experience is preferred, though this may also include journalism experience, strategic communications or similar
Earned media success: previous work with earned media campaigns, knowledge of how to deliver strategic campaign goals and a passion for brand storytelling
Account management mastery: you have a history of impressing clients, are skilled at managing and incorporating feedback, relish building relationships and are comfortable initiating and leading client meetings and calls
A passion for writing: a strong portfolio of published articles on recognizable sites and a real flair for news copy that hits the mark, or demonstrable earned media coverage/past campaigns that performed well and smashed client goals
Exceptional organization: you’re driven by lists and can manage multiple ongoing projects smoothly from start to finish
News sense: you absorb news and lifestyle journalism, know what makes a good story and can effectively weave brand strategy with strong creative
Ideas galore: you love generating concepts, have ideas aplenty, aren’t afraid to be vocal and can contribute to generating compelling survey stories that brands want to be a part of and journalists want to write about
