Build and maintain high-level relationships with top-tier business, tech, and trade journalists to secure consistent, high-impact coverage.
Act as a strategic advisor to the C-suite, managing speaking engagements, thought leadership articles, and media training for key executives.
Develop and maintain a robust crisis communications playbook; lead the rapid-response team to mitigate reputational risks as they arise.
Collaborate with People Strategy to ensure transparent, engaging, and consistent messaging to our global workforce, reinforcing our award-winning culture.
Work closely with the Editorial Cybersecurity Journalist team to ensure technical content is leveraged effectively for broader corporate storytelling and social media strategies.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of communication programs, including sentiment analysis and share of voice.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in corporate communications or PR, with at least 5 years specifically covering the cybersecurity or SaaS industry.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a mastery of translating complex technical "cyber-speak" into clear, engaging narratives for a non-technical audience.
Experience overseeing the production of digital content, including executive-level videos, podcasts, and social media campaigns.
A proven track record of placing stories in major outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and TechCrunch.
Strong experience in building and managing high-performing teams and overseeing external PR agencies.
The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
