Translate customer problems into solution capabilities offerings
Lead the effort in identifying new solution opportunities
Confirm business case for Belden solutions
Work with Solution Architecture and Development teams for commercial launch
Create solution roadmaps identifying long-term plans for development
Create solution common reference architectures enabling repeatability
Create solution launch plans including relevant commercial and marketing activities
Support sales, field applications engineering, and solution consultant teams
Requirements
Bachelors' degree in Business, IT, or Engineering
Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in business development, product management, or solution management in telecommunications, IT, or datacom related business
Strong technical understanding in IT networking technologies and software solutions such as Ethernet IP, SD-WAN, Wifi, 5GNR; PON, WDM, etc.
Knowledge and experience with CRM system tools (e.g. SFDC, DeskPro)
Proven track record within a solutions role in the data center environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and recommend solutions to manage customer challenges
Strong organizational, prioritization and communication skills
Ability to translate complex, technical information into comprehensible conversation with a non-technical audience.
