Assist in the administration and coordination of HR programs and processes related to associate services
Perform customer service tasks necessary within the department such as handling customer/associate complaints, problems, and requests
Maintain effective working relationships with persons at all levels within the company including vendors, customers, regulatory authorities, associates, consultants, etc.
Protect the confidentiality of written and verbal information critical to company operations
Identify process improvements and assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing new programs or procedures
Maintain professional composure when managing emergency situations and working in an environment with frequent interruptions
Assist associates by answering general human resources questions
Process and input associate changes into the HRIS promptly and accurately
Present HR orientation programs to new and converting associates
Administer tuition reimbursement processes and enter data into the Learning Management System
Utilize technical knowledge of the HRIS database to run reports, queries, and data reviews
Assist job applicants with the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Some college preferred
Experience in a professional, customer-facing environment preferred
Experience working with HRIS software preferred
Strong sense of urgency and ability to act quickly and appropriately in time-sensitive situations
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all work
Ability to establish workload priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to interpret and apply departmental methods and processes
Strong analytical skills, including ability to resolve issues based on incomplete or evolving information
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of verbal and written information
Ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds, personalities, and work styles
