Looking after the South Island territory, you will drive new business growth within the small fleet segment (up to 20–30 vehicles) by building and strengthening relationships across the dealer network.
Your focus will be on generating referrals through the dealer channel, cultivating direct leads from small businesses, and achieving individual sales and new business targets.
Gain operating lease referrals from dealers and facilitate the closing of those deals alongside the dealer
Actively prospect and hunt for new business opportunities direct with small business owners, by qualifying inbound leads from marketing activities or external/internal referrals.
Execute on a regular contact cycle plan which meets minimum call volumes with dealers in territory, including at Dealer Principal level; Business/Finance & Insurance Managers, and retail salespeople.
Conduct regular training sessions to dealer sales staff (at all levels) on leasing benefits, FleetPartners products and services, dealer portal training and education.
Requirements
Exposure to leasing, auto dealerships or automotive finance or other finance products.
Experience and success with cold calling of businesses and transitioning them into prospects
Confidence in providing product training to groups and build engagement where product awareness is low.
Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
