Responsible for business process improvements and provides team and project leadership that facilitates organizational alignment, continuous process improvement, and change management.
Analyze business processes to identify and document issues where a standard doesn’t exist or where processes are inconsistent, are unnecessarily complex, aren’t being followed, add cost without value, impede the ability to fulfill obligations in a timely manner, or contribute to customer dissatisfaction.
Provide specific process improvement recommendations to increase productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate across many stakeholders and business process owners to ensure alignment of organizational structure, roles, responsibilities, processes, standards, performance measures, and training plans.
Lead cross functional teams to drive process improvements to successful integration by: identifying and articulating key business issues and defining project scope, including clarifying project objectives in alignment with corporate objectives and overall strategic direction; understanding market and internal views; designing process, organization and technology solutions; performing gap analysis and preparing business cases for change (benefits and costs); defining change management requirements, including communications and process, system and training requirements facilitating plan development and implementation; defining key performance indicators and implementing performance monitoring; and transitioning to continuous process improvement monitoring and measurement.
Gain organizational buy-in and effectively communicate critical elements of process improvement solutions to a variety of stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, marketing or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five years experience in business planning, organizational and process management, or process improvement.
Ability to understand and assess complex business scenarios, and effectively communicate to a variety of audiences.
Leadership, change management and program/project management experience.
Proven success gaining cross-functional buy-in on initiatives.
Process development and integration experience (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma certification).
