About this role
Role Overview
- Develop and organize training for sales and service personnel on the respective products
- Provide technical training to the service network and customers on product operation, maintenance and troubleshooting techniques
- Provide technical support to end users, operators and service personnel
- Participate in compiling specific data for warranty claim processes and for machine improvements
- Monitor test results for new products to support product improvements
- Collaborate with customers to design complete system solutions, project schedules and commissioning activities
- Perform equipment installations, project commissioning and product demonstrations safely and proactively
- Develop customer relationships to ensure a positive experience and foster loyalty to the Sandvik brand
Requirements
- Two-year diploma in an electrical discipline or equivalent experience
- 7 years of technical experience
- Bilingualism (French and English) in spoken and written form is an asset
- Project management experience
- Ability to work in a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to train and transfer knowledge to others
- Commitment to achieving customer satisfaction objectives
- Strong investigative and diagnostic skills
- Computer literate
- Valid driver’s license
