Collaborate closely with senior divisional leaders to meet division financial objectives
Engage with customers and identify potential business opportunities
Contribute to corporate and segment strategic growth initiatives
Demonstrate flexibility to work across Eng, PM, Proposals, and IPT to grow business
Responsible for identifying, shaping, qualifying, and winning new business development pursuits
Communicates within and outside of the organization to influence leadership
Frequently conduct briefings to senior leaders
Develop capture plans, business cases, and phase gate reviews for opportunities
Identify Price to Win, Probability of Win, Key Discriminators for each pursuit
Responsible for account management and relationships with new and existing customers
Understand the DoD budget and trends, current and future domestic market space, and competitor strategies
Proactively create, cultivate, and enhance relationships with new customers
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or related technical field, or equivalent
minimum of 12 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
MBA is a plus
military experience is a plus
Experience in leading new business pursuits.
Demonstrated ability in competitive analysis, customer analysis, win strategy development, proposal and color team leadership and price-to win analysis
Disciplined, self-starting professional who can bring projects to closure with minimum direction, guidance and oversight
Strong working knowledge of and experience with common capture processes
Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently under limited supervision
Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft office tools
Must be available to travel at least 25% of the year.
