Provides administrative support to project team members
Supports team in maintaining project related files, coordinating with vendors, invoicing, and managing purchase orders
Supports project life cycle activities, including responsibilities related to Orbital project management software
Regularly utilizes internal software packages to complete daily responsibilities in the engineering design workflow process
Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure their projects are being executed according to proposed deadlines and constraints, and internal standards
Assist with both internal and external reporting of project status KPIs
Coordinate and compile input from team members and various project reports to establish appropriate project plans, checkpoints and processes to meet project milestones, financial metrics and requirements
Communicate with others, including co-workers and clients, to reconcile project overages taking any corrective action required
Assist management in the execution of internal QMS program to ensure first time quality in project management
Requirements
Advanced computer skills for Microsoft Office Suite
Associates degree in relevant field or equivalent job experience required, Bachelor’s degree is a plus
Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively with people individually and in groups, including external partners and internal team members
Strong organizational skills with proven experience prioritizing work and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently and contribute administrative support to teams
Reasoning skills and ability to solve practical problems
This position requires the ability to pass a post-offer drug (including marijuana) and alcohol test in compliance with Federal regulations and is also subject to random testing as a condition of continued employment.
