You take overall responsibility for our performance marketing: 5 teams, true P&L ownership and the mandate to make this area a growth engine.
You don’t wait for instructions. You analyze, decide, execute — and iterate quickly.
You build and lead 5 high-performance teams: Meta, SEA, CRM, Marketplace and Onsite — both line and functional leadership — and you establish a culture of excellence: you challenge and develop your team through targeted coaching and high expectations so everyone outperforms themselves.
P&L responsibility for our Other Own Brand shops (Primum, Müllers Naturhof, petsPremium) and the marketplace business — not just budget oversight but the freedom to invest capital where it delivers maximum ROI. You manage €8+ million in ad spend, scale with clear CLV/CAC ratios to €30+ million, and identify growth levers.
You own the performance channels for our focus brands: Wolfsblut, Wildes Land and Arden Grange, and you know how to turn brands into growth cases within their brand identity (CI) and operationalize them.
You understand that performance marketing in 2026 is more than media buying — you help drive the creative engine: data feedback to creative, testing roadmaps for creatives.
Technical and strategic ownership of the entire online sales & performance marketing area.
You scale outcomes, not just headcount: you identify and implement AI tools and automations to eliminate manual processes and double your teams’ speed, ensuring we stay technologically ahead — from bidding algorithms to AI-driven content creation.
You use our matrix organization not as an alignment marathon but as a resource pool: you mobilize Brand, Tech and Product for your growth goals and act as a sparring partner on equal footing with our Brand Directors — we win together as a team, each with a clear role.
Requirements
Several years of leadership experience in performance marketing with measurable results — not theory, but proven scaling.
You make fast decisions using microlearnings, work hypothesis-driven and continuously question assumptions — speed beats perfection.
You see AI not as a gimmick but as a decisive competitive advantage (a force multiplier).
You have experience deploying tech solutions for operational excellence.
You address issues when they arise — not when they escalate. You don’t shy away from difficult conversations but always remain constructive.
Numbers are your language. You detect anomalies in dashboards before others do.
You have proven that you don’t just survive in complex organizations but leverage them to achieve your goals.
You understand the link between creative and performance — and can manage both. You win discussions with arguments and data, not politics.
