Conduct deep-dive analysis of feature success, retention drivers, and long-term engagement patterns to generate actionable product insights and inform roadmap decisions
Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Design on product planning, bringing a data lens to ideation and concept evaluation throughout the product development lifecycle
Design and structure A/B tests to ensure statistical rigor, including experiment design, sample size calculations, and analysis of results using cohort analysis and causal inference methods
Create analytics frameworks and event taxonomy to maintain data quality, partnering with the data platform team to keep data sources clean and well-defined
Enable Product Manager self-service through tooling, documentation, and light-touch support, using AI tools and MCP integrations to turbocharge analyses and scale impact
Requirements
5-10 years experience in product analytics or data science with deep familiarity with A/B testing, experiment design, and cohort analysis within platforms such as Mixpanel or Amplitude (mobile app experience is a plus)
Proven ability to apply behavioral and statistical analysis methods such as behavioral clustering, propensity score matching, and regression modeling to deliver actionable product insights
Fluent in SQL and Python with strong technical skills for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization
Strong product sense with ability to generate product and behavioral hypotheses from data insights and experiment results, translating business questions into structured analytical approaches
Excellent communication skills, able to communicate clearly around data insights, limitations, and approaches to technical and non-technical audiences, comfortable using AI tools to enhance analytical output
