About this role
Role Overview
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for a portfolio of interconnected projects
- Lead and mentor Project Managers and delivery teams
- Manage development, design and implementation of interconnected projects
- Develop and implement detailed plans and policies
- Supervise day-to-day operations of assigned staff
- Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities within the program
- Assess program/portfolio performance and develop innovative strategies
Requirements
- 10+ years of Program Leadership and/or Senior Project Management experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- PMP certification
- Agile certification is an asset
- Experience using project management tools for planning and implementing complex projects
- Experience working in a matrix project environment
- Proven capabilities for developing and maintaining complex project delivery schedules
- Excellent relationship management and consulting skills
- Demonstrated experience across all stages of various IT project types
