Provide daily written content by developing weekly assignments that focus on health-related content for a dedicated section of the Cleveland Clinic website.
Create trustworthy, easy-to-understand health information that aligns with Cleveland Clinic’s standards for accuracy and clarity.
Collaborate closely with SEO, operations, and graphics teams, as well as partners across Marketing & Communications.
Write accurate, high-quality medical content that’s consistent with Cleveland Clinic’s brand voice.
Research health topics and/or interview clinical sources.
Translate complex medical and scientific information into accessible and comprehensive language for patients and the general public.
Incorporate edits from subject matter experts into finished copies.
Seek out and engage regularly with peers, creating an environment of exchange and learning.
Requirements
One year of experience writing, editing, researching and preparing material for publication OR High School/GED and five years of experience OR Associate’s degree and three years of experience
Experience with Microsoft Office suite
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of colleagues.
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with an ability to prioritize, solve problems and set expectations
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, English, healthcare or closely related field (preferred)
