assisting with issue management and community information sessions
Analyze trends and feedback across media, social channels, call centres, webinars, and community engagement
preparing insight summaries and recommending improvements to strengthen claimant communications and reduce barriers
Develop and adapt trauma-informed, culturally safe claimant-facing materials, including FAQs, fact sheets, web and social content, email templates, scripts, presentations, and event-specific communications aligned with approved messaging
Support issues management and community engagement efforts
advising leadership on on-the-ground insights
executing response strategies
planning communications for events and sessions
applying a strong commitment to reconciliation and respect for Indigenous communities and equity-deserving groups
Requirements
3 to 5 years of experience in communications, public relations, community relations, or a related field
Degree or diploma in communications, public relations, marketing, business communications, journalism, or related education and experience
Strong writing and verbal skills in English
French or other language skills are an asset
Experience developing public-facing content across multiple channels, including web, email, print, and events
Experience interpreting media, social media, call centre, or community feedback data to spot trends, issues, and opportunities
Experience supporting internal and external communication strategies, including social media and digital engagement
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Experience working with Indigenous communities or organizations, or other equity deserving communities and understanding of trauma-informed approaches
Experience in complex or high-volume front-line communication environments
Experience in class action, legal, health, public sector, or other highly regulated settings
Experience supporting communication work across multiple teams or partners
Ability to travel occasionally to internal meetings, client engagements, or community visits
