Senior Tax Manager – Personal Property, Sales/Use Tax for Lease Asset, Equipment

Role Overview

• Responsible for leasing related Indirect Taxes
• Engage with Sales and Legal teams
• Develop and implement systems for reporting leasing related personal property and sales taxes
• Provide guidance to subordinates regarding established tax policies
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns

Requirements

• 6+ years of Corporate Tax experience
• 3+ years of management or leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of all aspects of property tax
• Ability to review, process and appeal property tax assessments
• Ability to review and process property tax bills
• Ability to review customer generated refund requests
• Knowledge of Sales/Use Tax
• Knowledge of leasing related property tax and sales laws
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Advanced Knowledge of Property Tax Management System (PTMS)
• Familiarity with InfoLease
• General experience with Tax Research software (CCH, IRA)
• Ability to motivate others to greater performance
• Ability to assess current processes/procedures and make recommendations for efficiency
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
• Ability to partner with all professionals within the company
