Lead customer relationships across the Gas Power portfolio in North America
Manage customer relationship for accounts within respective region and lead deal negotiations / closure with customers
Partner with commercial operations to develop winning strategies and achieve order closure
Develop long term strategic plans by market and customer to drive penetration and growth
Build and maintain relationships with energy regulators, system operators and government agencies responsible for the power sector
Develop relationships with investors, financial institutions, fuel providers (such as Natural Gas and LNG suppliers)
Continuously monitor and drive opportunity development by early engagement of project developers
Provide leadership through the formulation and execution of proposal strategies with the respective internal teams
Drive orders, sales, cash and contribution margin growth
Support positioning of the Long-Term Service Agreements
Provide support to the project implementation team
Share knowledge internally and use market knowledge to drive sales opportunities with customers
Maintain on-going customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
Provide demand forecasting and pacing support to Sales Operations
Responsible for keeping SFDC up to date with the region’s opportunities (forecast and active)
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business-related discipline from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Power Generation Industry / knowledge of Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine technology products and services
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, Project Management, Commercial Operations, Technical Sales, or Customer Service in the Power Generation industry
Strong technical background and familiarity with Heavy Duty & Aeroderivative Gas Turbines
Knowledge of gas turbine auxiliary systems
Broad and deep understanding of the commercial cycle, including product line / marketing / sales / commercial operations / engineering
Ability to effectively interface with all levels of internal / external customers
Demonstrated value selling skills with a long-term business mindset
Strong interpersonal communication skills at the leadership level
Ability to work across functions and matrix organizations
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter to manage and influence in a matrix environment
Business acumen / analytic ability with a “holistic solution” Mindset
Strong account management skills, including developing relationships at the C-suite level
Financial, analytical skills, and strategic planning capabilities
Demonstrated computer skills, including a very strong command of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint applications.
