Provide support in relation to the daily, weekly and monthly payroll functions (e.g. payroll reports and to meet government-related payroll compliance obligations).
Provide financial reports to our clients by maintaining and reconciling payroll accounts.
Review of payroll reports prepared by team member to ensure accuracy and compliance with local regulations before sending to clients for approval each month.
Provide ad-hoc support in relation to all payroll compliance / advisory matters.
Build and manage payroll process to ensure adequate internal controls, drive efficiencies and process improvements as well as timely review of payroll computations.
Assist with outsourcing or technology related special projects and provide insightful analysis when needed.
Assist clients with the preparation and review of annual employer’s return on employees’ remuneration (Form IR8E).
Assist in the provision of information and/or reports as requested by auditors and/or tax agents.
Assist Senior Manager / Directors / Partner with the preparation of fee proposals for potential clients and opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
4 years or more experience in a similar payroll role
Proficient in MS Office and proven experience in the usage of payroll software.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and handle confidential information with maturity and sensitivity.
Ability to work effectively in a team, have good working attitude and good interpersonal communication skills
Candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, work well under pressure and be able to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to coach a team of junior/fresh professionals in a fast-paced team environment.
