About this role
Role Overview
Act as a PMO /PM within the Airworthiness organization, supporting execution of airworthiness-related activities
Support governance and coordination of Airworthiness work, including: Preparing, leading, and facilitating recurring meetings
Capturing meeting minutes, decisions, and action items
Ensuring follow-up and closure of actions with engineering teams
Coordinate deliverables across multiple engineering functions (design, systems, certification, etc.)
Maintain and regularly update task tracking databases and tools (weekly cadence)
Provide visibility on status, priorities, and risks to Airworthiness leadership
Support the definition and implementation of KPIs for the Airworthiness team
Track progress against agreed metrics and milestones
Prepare clear status reports and dashboards for management
Identify gaps, delays, or workload trends and proactively flag them
Gradually develop into a CAW focal for selected topics or projects
Learn and apply internal airworthiness and certification processes
Interface with internal stakeholders to support compliance and certification objectives
Take ownership of small projects or work packages as workload ramps up
Support planning, scheduling, and prioritization activities
Manage scope, actions, and risks for assigned projects
Contribute to continuous improvement of Airworthiness and PMO/PM processes
Act as a trusted right hand / copilot to the Head of Airworthiness
Support preparation of leadership reviews and decision forums
Ensure alignment between technical execution and organizational priorities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field

5 years of experience
Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Experience in a Program Engineer, Project Engineer, or similar coordination role
Background or exposure to Airworthiness, certification, or regulated aerospace environments
Strong coordination, organization, and follow-up skills
Ability to learn new processes quickly and scale responsibilities over time
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
French is a strong asset
