About this role
Role Overview
You create technical specifications for machines, apparatus, systems and individual factory components.
You handle tasks in basic engineering as well as detailed engineering and support projects from the concept phase through execution.
You develop plant layouts in 2D and 3D, and coordinate drawings between various project stakeholders and interfaces such as customers, suppliers and internal and external engineering planners.
You support process engineering sizing and the design of production processes, with particular focus on paper and printing technology.
You produce technical drawings, bills of materials and project-specific documentation.
You create flow diagrams and P&IDs as the basis for planning, construction and operation of the plants.
You model plants and factory components in 3D and maintain the corresponding models throughout the project lifecycle.
You plan piping, support systems and cable trays, etc., in 3D and coordinate these with adjacent trades.
You derive drawings and create isometrics for fabrication and assembly.
You support projects on site with measurements, installations and commissioning.
Requirements
You have a completed technical degree or technical qualification in the fields of paper/process engineering, technical drafting, printing technology or a related discipline.
You possess very good knowledge of MS Office, SAP and 2D/3D design software (Autodesk CAD software: AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Inventor, Navisworks).
You have several years of relevant experience in factory/plant engineering planning, particularly in the printing and/or paper environment.
You take an entrepreneurial approach and demonstrate decisiveness, pragmatic problem-solving and strong implementation skills.
You are highly self-motivated, seek responsibility and have strong analytical and assertiveness capabilities.
You have excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken; additional languages, particularly French, are an advantage.
