Over three years you will learn everything you need for the role of an OTA — theory and practical training alternate regularly
Practical placements take place at Krankenhaus Nordwest or Hospital zum Heiligen Geist; theory is taught at the OTA school of Klinikum Frankfurt Höchst (Varisano)
You will be actively involved: assisting in surgeries and caring for patients
Additional insights are provided in nursing, functional diagnostics, the emergency department and central sterilization (CSSD).
Requirements
You have at least a secondary school leaving certificate (e.g., Realschulabschluss) or your (vocational) high-school diploma (Fachhochschulreife/Abitur)
Interest in medicine, technology and the natural sciences
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Empathy to support patients and their relatives in the best possible way
Attention to detail, a sense of responsibility and sustained concentration
