Product Launches: Work closely with Product teams to understand what’s upcoming in new and updated features. You will lead the charge in briefing Marketing team stakeholders to drive forward market strategies that ensure every release lands with impact.
Continuous Feedback Loop: Bridge the gap between the market and the product roadmap with deep insights and ICP/persona intel. You’ll synthesize data from sales calls, customer interviews, and market trends to ensure the Product team builds what the market actually values, while simultaneously ensuring these insights dictate our marketing campaign messaging.
Deep-Dive Research & Insights: Own the discovery process. This includes "listening tours" (via Gong/Chorus/Sales calls), conducting direct customer interviews, and performing secondary market research to uncover the "why" behind our wins and losses.
Persona & ICP Orchestration: Move beyond static personas. You will build dynamic, data-backed ICP profiles that inform how Marketing runs campaigns and how Sales approaches outreach, constantly refining these based on real-world GTM testing.
Requirements
1-3 years in B2B SaaS Product Marketing: You have a proven track record of influencing GTM strategy through research, not just executing launches.
The "Inquisitive Mindset": You are a natural investigator. You enjoy digging through CRM data, listening to sales recordings, and interviewing customers to find the "nugget" of insight that changes a strategy.
Cross-Functional Translation: You can speak "Developer" to the Product team, "ROI" to the Sales team, and "CPC/Conversion" to the Growth team.
Operational Agility: You’re comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment where "perfect is the enemy of done." You can ship a targeting hypothesis, test it with a channel owner, and iterate quickly.
Evidence-Based Storytelling: You don't just write well; you write based on evidence. You use real customer language and market data to craft compelling narratives that resonate with specific industries.
Proficiency with Revenue Intelligence tools: Experience with Gong, Chorus, or similar platforms for qualitative research.
Analytical Chops: Ability to look at campaign performance data in tools like HubSpot or GA4 to see if your targeting hypotheses are actually converting.
Vertical Expertise: Understanding of workflows in high-volume communication industries like E-commerce, Travel, or Hospitality.
