About this role
Role Overview
Oversee a group of Territory Managers (TMs) in the selling of the Company's products and services.
Direct TMs against opportunities in closing and acquiring new accounts.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to TMs to achieve profitable sales and case growth objectives.
Research, develop, and maintain long and short-range sales plans.
Assist TMs in warming leads and closing, while opening new accounts.
Submit and administer annual street sales operating plan and budget, tracking performance against plan.
Communicate sales data to contribute to product/service planning.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or related field or equivalent experience required.
A minimum of five years of foodservice sales experience required.
A minimum of two years of supervisory experience required.
Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must have proficient computer skills, preferably in Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Valid driver's license required.
