Associate Attorney – High-volume Civil Litigation, Enforcement of Court-Awarded Attorney Fees

Role Overview

• Act on behalf of NWADV as part of the team enforcing court-awarded attorney fees, handling cases across all states;
• Manage court publications, schedule deadlines in the case-management system, review files, prepare reports, and meet deadlines;
• Update calculations and subsequently contact opposing counsel to attempt to resolve the dispute by settlement;
• Draft defenses, appeals, and various legal filings;
• Handle Credit Recovery actions: Execution, Monitória (monitory actions), and Collection proceedings;
• Advance cases to secure payment (request SISBAJUD, RENAJUD, INFOJUD, SNIPER, etc.);
• Conduct enforcement of judgments and prepare and contest calculations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1.5 years of active OAB/SP registration;
• Experience in high-volume/mass litigation law firms;
• Proficiency in credit recovery actions;
• Skill in the enforcement phase of judgments, preparation and contestation of calculations, providing guarantees/security, and filing objections;
• Proficient with the full Microsoft Office suite; intermediate Excel skills preferred;
• Ability to prepare defenses, appeals, and various legal submissions;
• Strong command of the enforcement phase of judgments, including preparation and contestation of calculations.
