Seek new business opportunities, through one’s own initiative, closing high yield business quickly and efficiently
Identify potential new clients through proactive sales techniques
Present to and close business with clients both face to face and over the phone
Meet and exceed individual and company financial targets
Retain and build portfolio of past and dormant clients
Secure meetings with and present to senior management/board level client prospects
Evaluate latest developments in public policy and identify business opportunities
Liaise with editorial and delivery teams to deliver client campaigns
Update and maintain company systems as appropriate (CRM, production schedules, etc.)
Requirements
Proven track record of success in media sales
A previous experience of working with events/media targeting the public sector is beneficial but not essential
Experience with digital/social media sales or campaigning is beneficial but not essential
Driven, ambitious, self-starter with experience of the consultative sales process and used to selling complex products or services at senior management-board level.
