About this role
Role Overview
Responsible for revenue growth and market development in the assigned sales territory
Identify, analyze and develop new markets, customer segments and application areas for our sensor solutions
Manage and expand existing customer relationships and actively acquire new customers
Present and position the industrial product portfolio to customers and distribution partners
Advise customers on selecting appropriate products and solutions
Plan and conduct customer visits, trade shows and conferences, and monitor market and competitor developments
Prepare, follow up and close quotations, and conduct price and contract negotiations
Work closely with internal departments such as Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Engineering
Maintain sales and project data and perform regular forecasting and reporting
Requirements
Degree in a business or technical field, or an equivalent qualification
Several years of professional experience in industrial sales or business development, ideally in sensors and electronic components
IT skills: confident user of common MS Office applications and ideally experience with SAP
Languages: very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel: readiness for frequent travel (approx. 75–80%)
