Troubleshoot, analyze, schedule, mechanical design, and part specification
Research, plans, and designs mechanical and electromechanical products and systems
Direct and coordinate activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems
Researches and analyzes data such as root cause and failure analysis
Compile and analyze historical data to improve overall machine reliability and performance
Review PM system to help improve machine performance and reliability
Work with manufacturers and vendors to solve problems with their equipment
Develop procedures for machine repair processes
Source parts for better prices and reliability
Review parts usage to determine problem areas
Participate in task teams
Assist with SAP related issues
Participate in maintenance and repair activities
Evaluate and offer input on design modifications
Use of CAD to provide drawings for new or modified mechanical/structural parts
Participate in and/or manage projects related to machinery and/or automation
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university majoring in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
2 years related experience and/or training
Knowledgeable in the areas of industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC machine controls, robotics, blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement techniques.
