Technical management of our commercial properties in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main and Munich, in particular our landmark at Alexanderplatz:
Responsibility for technical performance, modernization and sustainable value development of a large-scale, high-demand mixed‑use property, as well as documentation, tracking and consistent resolution of defects
Ensuring smooth technical operations including operator responsibilities
Management, quality assurance and further development of FM service providers
Central interface between tenants, service providers and internal departments
Monitoring of schedules, budgets and quality standards
First point of contact for all technical matters on site and for implementation and inspection of construction measures
Recording, coordination and monitoring of maintenance and repair activities in our existing properties
Quality, cost and deadline control
Monitoring compliance with requirements and regulations during maintenance and various inspections, including necessary defect rectification
Coordination with authorities, experts and contracted service providers and managing their engagement
Organisation and conduct of technical inspections across our portfolio and ensuring proper documentation
Annual budgeting and planning for CapEx and OpEx measures, including their monitoring
Performing client/owner responsibilities and duties
Requirements
Completed technical training or degree (e.g. civil engineering, building services/technical building equipment (TGA), real estate management) or demonstrable professional experience
Several years of professional experience in technical property management, construction or interior fit‑out, or equivalent proven experience
Good knowledge of technical trades, construction processes and facility management control
Confident handling of budgets, construction processes and vendor/contractor management
Strong communication skills, assertiveness and a structured way of working
Enjoyment in managing and further developing a demanding property over the long term
