Role Overview
- Advising and representing employers, employees and executives on all employment law matters
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating employment and termination agreements
- Litigation before labor courts at all levels
- Advising on employment law aspects of company acquisitions, restructurings, business changes and employment compliance issues
- Collaborating with other legal practice areas and internal teams within the firm, particularly tax law
Requirements
- Fully qualified lawyer with at least 5 years' professional experience in employment law — ideally a certified specialist (Fachanwalt) in labor law
- Successfully passed state examinations with a combined score of at least 15 points
- Experience in independently managing client mandates and representing clients in employment court proceedings
- Strong expertise in employment law
- Strategic thinking and an interest in business and economic contexts
- Enjoyment of solution-oriented, independently managed client work
- Strong communication skills and excellent command of German, both written and spoken
- Good English skills, both written and spoken
