Lead & enable: You lead, mentor and empower a team of Account Executives, fostering sales excellence and the continuous development of sales skills.
Full-cycle sales: Together with your team, you manage the entire sales process for strategic public-sector accounts — from prospecting and qualification through solution positioning to negotiation and contract closing.
Executive relationships: You support your team in building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior decision-makers (e.g., agency heads, department and unit leaders, IT heads and CISOs).
Sales discipline: You ensure a healthy pipeline, accurate forecasts and CRM discipline, and conduct regular deal reviews to increase momentum and close rates.
Cross-functional collaboration: You work closely with SDR, Pre-Sales, Customer Success and Marketing teams to optimize sales processes and onboarding across the DACH region.
Scale-up mindset: You actively contribute to developing and scaling our sales methodology, playbooks and best practices.
Lead by example: You personally drive selected strategic high-value deals to lead by example and support the team’s learning process.
Requirements
SaaS sales: Several years of experience in the DACH SaaS market within a scale-up/startup environment, with proven success closing strategic B2B deals and managing complex sales cycles.
Leadership aptitude: At least 1 year of leadership experience, or demonstrated leadership potential through targeted internal career progression, and a strong desire to coach others to high performance.
Master of pipeline: You excel at pipeline management, forecasting and deal coaching — helping your team turn a “maybe” into a “closed-won”.
Hunter mentality: You lead by example, have an unrelenting drive to identify new opportunities, and hold yourself to high standards for your own pipeline.
Agile & adaptable: You thrive in the fast pace of a scale-up and navigate shifting priorities with composure while keeping sight of the goal.
Tech stack: Proficient in Salesforce (or comparable CRMs) as well as modern sales tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and AI-powered solutions.
Plus: Experience in cybersecurity within the DACH region.
Languages: You are fluent in German and English (business/negotiation level).
