Role Overview
- Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach) targeting logistics decision-makers
- Identify and qualify potential clients within freight, supply chain, and e-commerce sectors
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads
- Schedule discovery calls and product demos for Account Executives
- Clearly communicate the company’s logistics solutions and value proposition
- Maintain accurate records of outreach and pipeline activity in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies
- Stay up-to-date with logistics trends, shipping challenges, and industry terminology
Requirements
- Recent experience in logistics, freight, supply chain, or transportation is essential (no more than 2 years ago)
- 1–3+ years of experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or outbound sales role
- Strong understanding of logistics operations (e.g., freight forwarding, last-mile delivery, warehousing)
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation or booking targets
- Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar
- Excellent communication and objection-handling skills
- Comfortable with cold outreach and high-volume activity
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
