About this role
Role Overview
Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll accurately and on time for all employees
Review and validate timekeeping records across plant and office locations
Maintain payroll data in ADP, including new hires, pay changes, tax updates, deductions, and 401(k) elections
Generate and audit payroll and benefits reports
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll and benefits questions
Administer benefits enrollments, life event changes, COBRA notifications, and leave programs (FMLA, disability, parental leave)
Partner with HR, Finance, and site leaders to resolve discrepancies and maintain data integrity
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and benefits regulations
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
Requirements
5+ years of payroll and benefits administration experience
Hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems required
Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, reporting)
Solid understanding of payroll tax laws and compliance requirements
Working knowledge of FMLA, COBRA, ACA, and related regulations
Experience supporting a multi-state, non-exempt workforce strongly preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to explain payroll and benefits clearly to employees
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
CPP, SHRM-CP, or PHR certifications are a plus.
