About this role
Role Overview
Own and negotiate the company’s highest-value infrastructure transactions, including data center capacity and colocation arrangements, hyperscaler relationships, and other strategic vendor agreements.
Provide legal counsel for vendor transactions and projects supporting the company’s cloud infrastructure.
Advise on and negotiate customer agreements for cloud compute services.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, security, finance, and product teams to manage risk and translate complex technical concepts into clear legal frameworks that enable efficient decision-making.
Support strategic growth initiatives by advising on new product offerings and evolving business models while ensuring legal frameworks scale with the business.
Requirements
At least 7 years of experience, including direct experience working with or negotiating against data center providers and hyperscalers on compute or infrastructure transactions.
Demonstrated track record of leading sophisticated, high-complexity commercial transactions and managing cross-functional deal processes.
Familiarity with compute and infrastructure transactions, including the ability to negotiate technical and commercial terms related to hardware specifications, service level agreements, data center operations, and power and utilities requirements.
Strong foundation in technology transactions, including hardware and infrastructure agreements, with the flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs in a fast-changing environment.
Ability to quickly learn adjacent practice areas and contribute across a broad range of commercial matters.
Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
J.D. and active bar admission required.
A mix of law firm and in-house experience preferred.
